Fahim placed on 10-day remand

RTNN News Desk: College student Golam Faizullah Fahim, arrested in a case filed over an attempt to murder a Hindu college teacher in Madaripur, has been put on a 10-day remand.

Madaripur Senior Judicial Magistrate M Saidur Rahman passed the remand order on Friday.

Earlier, investigating officer of the case Bariul Karim Khan produced Fahim before the court at about 3:45pm seeking 15 days' remand to interrogate him.

On June 15, three youths hacked Ripon Chakrabarty, a mathematics teacher at Madaripur’s Government Nazimuddin College, with sharp weapons in an attempt to kill him.
