Missing Jessore temple caretaker found hanged

RTNN News Desk: The hanging body of a caretaker of a Hindu temple was found 13 days after he went missing at Gourighona village in Keshabpur uapzila of Jessore.

The deceased Pradip Mallik, believed to be 48, was a caretaker of Swami Bhaskar Ananda Ashram Temple in Kathaltala of the upazila.

Keshabpur police Inspector (investigation) Masudur Rahman said Pradip’s body was found hanging from a mango tree near his house on Friday morning.

Keshabpur police station Officer-in-charge Shahidul Islam Shahid said, Pradip had gone to Gurighona Bazar on 4 June for buying medicine and did not return since then.

Basudeb Malik, brother of the victim, lodged a general diary with Keshabpur police station on Thursday night.
