Mosque khadem hacked in N'ganj

RTNN News Desk: Miscreants have hacked a khadem of a mosque in Chashara Balur Math area in Narayanganj.

The injured is Qari Mohammad Ibrahim, 43. He has been working as the khadem of Nur Mosque for 22 years.

He said: “A group of three people broke into my room on the ground floor of the mosque and hacked me while I was preparing to sleep around 3am Wednesday.

“The assailants fled the scene when the night guard of the mosque came to my rescue hearing me scream.”

Later, he was admitted to Narayanganj 300-bed hospital in Khanpur.

Narayanganj Sadar Model police station SI Shofiqur Rahman said: “We have heard about it, necessary initiative will be taken regarding the matter.
