Houseowner arrested with grenade in capital

RTNN News Desk: Police arrested a house owner at West Shewrapara area of Mirpur for allegedly sheltering the Gulshan attackers and concealing tenants' information from police.

A grenade was also recovered by police from the premises of the house, reports BSS.

Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the news saying, "Police arrested Md Nurul Islam, owner of the house 441/8 West Shewrapara last night."

Earlier, three people including Pro-Vice Chancellor of North South University were also arrested and shown arrested later for their alleged link to the Gulshan terror attacks on July 1., the DC added.
