HSC result: 69.60% students pass, 42,894 secured GPA 5

RTNN News Desk: A total of 69.60% students have successfully passed this year's Higher Secondary Certificate and its equivalent examinations.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid along with chairmen of all education boards handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10am Sunday.

The success rate has decreased more than 8% compared to last year’s 78.33%.

A total of 42,894 students secured GPA 5 this year while 70,602 examinees scored last year.

The success rate in Chittagong board is 63.49% while 59.80% students passed in Comilla board, 90.19% in Madrasa board and 85.58% in Technical board.

In the afternoon, minister Nahid will officially announce the results at a press conference at the secretariat.

Results will be also available on the website www.educationboard.gov.bd and at the respective college campuses.

For knowing grades on mobile phones, one will have to type HSC, space, first three letters of the education board, space roll number, space 2015, and send the SMS to 16222.

Madrasa students can know their results by typing Alim, space Mad, space roll number, space 2015, and send the SMS to 16222.

Vocational students can access their results by typing HSC, space Tec, space roll number, space 2015, and sending the SMS to 16222.
