JSC, JDC exams begin Sunday

RTNN News Desk: Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations-2015 will begin across the country from Sunday.

A total of 23,25,933 examinees are appearing in this year's examinations from 28,632 educational institutions, the Education Ministry officials said.

The number of JSC examinees is 19,67,447. Of them, 9,14,900 are males while 10,52,547 females, they said.

A total of 3,58,486 examinees will participate in the JDC examination. Among the JDC students, 167,770 are males and 1,90,716 females.

A total of 585 students from eight overseas centres will appear in the JSC examinations.

The number of JSC and JDC examinees has increased by 2,35,241 this year while the number was 20,90,692 students in 2014.
