Public varsity teachers postpone work abstention

RTNN News Desk: The Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers Association (FBUTA) on Tuesday (January 19) decided to postpone their ongoing indefinite work abstention.

Moreover, the teachers will return to the classes on Wednesday (January 20).

FBUTA leaders in a general meeting on Dhaka University campus took the decision in the evening following a successful meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on January 18.

The teachers of 37 public universities went on an indefinite work abstention from January 11 to press their demand of upgraded salary and status as well.
