Junior Tigers reach U19 WC semi-finals

RTNN Sports Desk: Bangladesh Under 19 Cricket Team have reached the semi-finals of the ICC Under-19 World Cup Cricket eliminating Nepal by 6 wickets in their quarter-final clash.

Nepal set 212-run target for Bangladesh. In reply, the junior Tigers scored 215 runs losing 4 wickets in 48.2 overs.

Bangladesh side's Zakir Hasan was unbeaten on 75 runs from 77 balls while Mehedi Hasan scored 55.


Nepal's S Dhamala picked two wickets while S Lamichhane picked one.

Nepal's R Rijal scored 72 runs for his team before he was run out.

Mohammad Saifuddin picked two wickets while Mehedi Hasan Rana, Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Saleh Ahmed Shawon picked one respectively.
