Shakeel wins fourth gold for Bangladesh

RTNN News Desk: Bangladeshi shooter Shakeel Ahmed on Wednesday won gold medal in 50m Pistol event at 12th South Asian Games (SAG) at Guwahati in India.


It is the fourth gold for Bangladesh in the event.


He clinched the gold with 187.6 points, just 0.3 ahead of India’s Om Prakash at Kahilipara Shooting Range in Kahilipara of India.


Earlier, Mabia Akter Shimanta won a gold medal in weightlifting while Mahfuza Khatun Shila won two gold medals in swimming.
